Togo’s commitment to peace and stability in Africa is known to all… By launching “Lome Peace and Security Forum”, the Togolese government, in accordance with the vision of H.E. Mr. Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE, President of the Republic, intends to establish a new African framework for exchanges, discussions and sharing of experiences on peace, security and the future of Africa.

The “Lome Peace and Security Forum” will periodically bring together, among others, representatives of African governments and elsewhere, diplomats, security stakeholders, experts and high-level researchers on peace and security issues, stakeholders from civil society, the media, regional, international and professional organizations and the business community.

At each edition of the Forum, it will be a matter of thinking together in order to jointly build coordinated and relevant solutions to the major challenges relating to peace, security, stability, governance, and development, the future of the continent and to that of the world.
